Crystal Palace are monitoring Hull City's Jacob Greaves and Gent's Archie Brown ahead of a possible summer move, The Palace Way sources understand.
The club are seeking defensive replacements, with at least one defender set to leave the club this summer.
Brown has made 34 appearances for Gent this campaign, assisting three times from left back. The 21-year-old does, however, have other Premier League clubs, including Chelsea, keen to acquire his services.
Greaves, who already has over 100 Championship appearances to his name at age 23, is also extremely sought after, with Palace being one of the clubs monitoring the centre-back.
However, Palace remain keen on central defensive targets Cristhian Mosquera and Ronnie Edwards, who rank highly on their summer shortlist.
The Eagles are also in pole position to sign West Ham's Ben Johnson when his contract expires in the summer. The South London club was close to securing the Englishman's services in the January transfer window.
Oliver Glasner will be looking for increased depth in the summer as the club continues their transition to a new brand of football.
